Christmas Time

Has come and gone, I can hardly believe it! Here are LOTS of Pics from our Christmas travels and festivities through out December 2007.
December 1st there was a surprise birthday party for Kirk's Grandma Hall who was turning 80 later in the month.

Pacey and Laina had there Christmas Singing recital on Dec. 7th & 8th. They had a lot of fun and did fantastic!

December 15 the Bowlby's had there Annual Christmas Party. Most everyone came and had so much fun catching up and visiting. A BIG thanks to Aunt Peggy and Uncle Joe for the great food (homemade Pizza and root beer floats, mmm) and program!

Grandpa reading the Nativity and a little Basketball(if there's a court) is tradition.

Some family pics were snapped, too bad Pacey was having issues!

December 20th the Girls had their School Christmas concert.

December 23rd Beth Lavon Hall celebrated her 80th birthday. We were there with Kirk's parents and sister Angie and family along with Aunt Christine and Uncle Dicks families.

We all pitched in with some money to buy her this LCD, flat screen TV.

We opened Christmas presents from grandma at this time.

Christmas Eve Day we spent at Kirk's parents.

During the day we went "sledding". Yes this is the way to do it, no hills to climb just flat snowy ground to be pulled around by a quad on!

Christmas Morning we woke up at 8am at our house. Dennis and Robyn stayed with us too.

At 11am we went to my parents and had wonderful Christmas dinner with Kevin, Julie, Dennis and Robyn and Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby!

At 6:30pm we headed back to Raymond to meet Kirks family at the graveyard. It is tradition for us to meet at Kirk's youngest brothers grave (he died 15 years ago now) and light a candle in the homemade ice blocks and sing Christmas carols and have a family prayer.

After that we headed to their house and had the cousins open the gifts they drew names for.

Boxing day the Morton tradition is to go bowling. Here we are having a blast even though Nevee threw up right when we arrived, she felt much better after and even got into bowling.

So there you have it our Christmas travels and festivities. Hope everyones Christmas was great and wish you a wonderful 2008!

Loved all the pics Tina! Just a little FYI, there is a web site called www.slide.com that you can make slide shows on for free! It gives you a code to post it on your blog and then you don't have to line them all up in a post! Happy New Year!

Well I feel like I did about 1/2 of what you did (missed you at New Year's btw) and wonder if you took a nice 3 days holiday afterwards and read books too lol!
So fun to read your blog.. if only dial up would load more than 1/4 of the pics though :(

Thanks for all the pictures, Tina. Missing out on the Bowlby Christmas party every year is one of the things that makes me sad to be all the way down in Texas.
Compared to your Christmas season, mine was slow and uneventful ;)
