Schools Out Let's Scream and Shout

WOOT WOOT!

I am so excited for summer holidays to start!

I can't wait for sleeping in, going camping in our trailer, going on weekend adventures and just hangin' out and playing.

So I got my E.L.F. makeup order yesterday. So excited, I mostly ordered lips stuff and nail polish.

I also got my first free book from Barbour Publishing. Can't wait to read it but it is the 3rd book in a series and I haven't read the 2nd yet. I have it on hold at my library and expect to get it in a few weeks.

I put the girls in the first session of swim lessons, tomorrow is their last day! This session was a great one as the sun has been shining the whole time, the weather has been perfect. I think the girls are all doing well, I guess we'll see if they pass after lessons tomorrow.

I let Pacey join Swim Club which is at 7am Mon to Fri this weeks. *yawn* I can't wait for July 2nd when they will meet from 8:30am to 9:30 Mon to Fri for the rest of the summer.

This year is somewhat monumental as I now let Pacey go up to public swim on her own. I bought a family pass this year so we can swim everyday for free if we want.

I'm going to start going to aquafit on the 2nd. It is Mon to Fri from 8:30pm to 9:30pm (I think). Should be fun and hopefully and great work out.

I know I've been lacking in the picture area and hopefully will be able to post some soon.

I'm cleaning and packing to get us ready to leave tomorrow, right after swim lessons, to head up to Ponoka to finally see Dennis and Robyn's house. Any suggestions on traveling with 3 kids for 5 hours?

Last night I went to my first Book Club meeting. It was fun to just get out for an hour or so and visit and talk a little about the book, Twilight. Yes, the book this month to discuss was Twilight so I just had to go. It's a fun group of girls and I'm excited for next month, the book is Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.

Kirk is soooooo busy with K & M and drawing house plans. He is getting some all finished up and hopes to be able to take a little break soon. Or maybe it's me that hopes that?! Anyway he's busy and is excited to get away this weekend.

Laina went to her grade 1 orientation today and said she can't wait for school to start! She has Mrs. Bourne for a teacher, who is great and so much fun. Pacey has Mrs. Turner for grade 4 whom I don't know, yet. I can't believe it will be just me and Nevee at home when school starts?!

Better go and get some more packing and cleaning done so we'll be ready for tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

I suggest large quantities of gravol for the kids and an mp3 player for you. ;) Actually, I loved coloring books and those books with the stickers that you could move around. Those kept me pretty entertained for hours. (And they're not a form of child abuse! Bonus!!!)

Trevor has Mrs. Turner too, he had her for grade 2 before she was moved up and really liked her. She was good with the kidsa and light on the homework, my favorite kind of teacher=). I saw you guys pulling out with your trailer today, have fun this weekend!! 5 hours with 3 kids is a cake walk , try driving them to Texas and back, then we'll talk;-)
