AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I have been feeling like that for almost 2 weeks. On July 8th our Bishop left a message on Kirk's cell for him to call him ASAP. So at 9:30pm, when we got home, he called and we were asked if we could meet with him at the Stake Center. So up to the church we go and Kirk goes in to talk with Bishop Fromm, 30 secs later it's my turn. AHHHHHHHHHHHH I thought and then:

-------------------------------------------------------
He asks "We would like to extend the calling of Primary President to you"?

"Are you serious?" I ask.

"Very, will you accept?"

"Um...(long pause) I've been taught to accept all callings so... I guess the answer is...yes?" the words stumbled out.

" Great! Now you need to take this list and let us know who you would like as your counselors and secretary". He hands me a sheet with all the women 18 years and older from our ward. "We've called the YW and Relief Society President and they've submitted names but we want to see yours before we ok theirs".

"So are the YW and RS Pres. names still on this list?"

"Yes, yes they are but I'm sure you won't call them." He smiles and I cringe.

"I guess we'll see how in tune with the spirit I am because if I put them on my list we're in BIG trouble." I force a smile and try not to start bawling.

----------------------------------------------------

I handed my names in the Monday I was at Quest and the Bishop quickly read them over and said there was no names duplicated with any of the Women's presidencies.

Yesterday was a hard day, all the women presidencies were released and new ones were put in. We did get to finish out our last callings, so it was nice to be with the YW this last time.

How thankful I am that the sisters I requested, accepted because I know they are who the Lord wanted because their names just felt RIGHT when I would pray about them.

So next Sunday here I come ready but not really. Oh well here goes nothing.

I know you will be a wonderful President for the primary. I have a couple site bookmarked that I use all the time when doing my lessons. I can send them to you on facebook if you like. Take a deep breath. You will be fine.

Congrats! if you can say that for callings. I was the primary president for 3 1/2 years. I was just released in November. Those were fun and trying years. I know that only strong women are being called to teach the children because of the times in which we live in. Rely on your testimony and prayer. You will do awesome.
