That is exactly what I had at our Ward Family Christmas Party last Tuesday. Tekarra, Sarabeth, Bonnie and I set up that morning to be ready for 6:30. We started with a great program, we have such a talented ward, after which we had had the Young Men making Belgian waffles so everyone could have a waffle Sunday, ice cream with all the toppings mmmm. We also had the Young Women helping out with the kids craft ( a beaded pipe cleaner candy cane), the wrapping station (we asked every family to bring a "family" gift to donate to families in need) and a family photo area in the front entrance. We have the BEST YM and YW's!!!!!! We had about 250 people there, it was a great night and thankfully we never stressed once in planning it or even when things didn't go as smoothly or as quietly as it could have. I send out a BIG thank you to those who helped out in anyway and to all those who came out to it. Here are our familypictures from it.
The only thing that went wrong was that all 5 waffle irons died! Yes they quit right at the end and they are the ones that flip. Who knew you couldn't plug in 5 waffle irons in the kitchen? We are replacing them.
On another note I can NOT get any of my videos to upload on this thing, so until I figure it out there will be no pics of the girls musical drama theater.
Exciting news I'm only 1.6 lbs away from my first weight loss goal!!!! Yay! Next meeting is the Saturday after Christmas, hopefully I'll be good over the holidays!?
Hope everyone has a MERRY CHRISTMAS if I don't post before then.
